A4Africa are sustainable paper production and distribution specialists based in Ghana.
Founded in 2015, we produce environmentally friendly, high-quality copy paper that's made locally at our factory in Ghana, and proudly carry the Made in Ghana label.
Our paper is supplied to, and used by, businesses and local governments across Africa - supporting their work with paper products that are not only high quality, but good for the planet too.

Community investment is at the heart of A4Africa and we’re deeply rooted in the local fabric of the Middle Belt Zone.
This includes our commitment to hiring and upskilling local people in order to empower their communities, transform their lives, and create a better Africa.
Our corporate social impact work through the Africa’s Dreams on Paper initiative supports Ghana’s orphanages, ensuring the children in their care have brighter futures.
Sustainability
Our innovative, environmentally-friendly manufacturing technologies focus on ecological balance throughout the entire production process - from where and how our raw materials are sourced, to the energy and water cycles that go into producing Africa’s highest quality paper.
By using solar power we’re able to cut our factory’s CO2 emissions by around 500 metric tons each year. That’s the equivalent of planting more than 8,000 trees, or removing 100 petrol cars from the road.
What’s more, by converting waste materials into premium paper we’re significantly reducing the volume of waste in landfills (3 cubic metres per ton of waste paper) and helping to create a cleaner, greener Africa.

Our environmentally-focused paper production uses only responsibly sourced materials, and our Ghanaian factory supports the livelihoods of local people and their families. We also started the ‘Africa’s Dreams on Paper’ initiative, which helps orphaned African children by empowering them with the tools and knowledge they need to find success in life.
It’s these people who inspire us to create the best paper in Africa, which in turn supports the operations of tens of thousands of African businesses.

Our vision is to create a sustainable paper manufacturing industry in Ghana, supporting local people and initiatives. We are directly creating jobs, boosting the African economy, and mitigating Africa’s dependency on costly paper importation.
What we do
We produce high-quality paper in our local factory in Ghana. Using only waste paper and cardboard materials, we create high-quality, low-cost paper products for African businesses and consumers.
Sustainable Paper Production
Our waste paper mill employs cutting-edge technology to transform recycled paper into premium quality copy paper. Our paper mill is powered by solar energy to minimise our environmental impact and promote sustainable practices.
Our sustainable facility saves:
560,000+ trees per year
132 million kWh of energy - equivalent to powering about 88,000 households in Ghana for a year
108,900 cubic yards of landfill space in Ghana, minimising pollution
56,100 tons of CO2e annually - equivalent to removing over 12,000 gasoline-powered cars from the road for a year
495 million gallons of water annually - a precious resource that is under threat due to environmental pressures
